The story

I started the Ring a Month challenge on 31st December 2018 as a way to get myself to commit to making something consistently for a year. I honestly thought that it would just be me and a few of my jeweller friends that would join in but it quickly snowballed; more and more people from all over the world started to join in and by the end of January, just a few weeks later, more than 100 rings had been created and shared. Since then, hundreds of jewellers have created over 1000 rings as part of the challenge. Thank you to you all. I love looking out for your rings every day on Instagram and Facebook and have been inspired by your creations.

The 2020 calendar

This calendar features the work of 31 jewellery artists from around the world that have participated in the challenge. Some make jewellery as a hobby, others as their profession. Different types of jewellery making are represented and all the jewellers featured are women. It was not my intention to only choose rings made by female jewellers but that is how it has worked out this year.

Choosing the rings to feature in the calendar was not an easy job! Not all of those that submitted rings for consideration were included as there was a big response to my call for entries. You made my job difficult. Once the shortlist was made I did love choosing which rings to put next to each other in the calendar though!

The calendar

The calendar is A4 size with a spiral binding at the top and is a great size for your studio with lots of inspiring rings to look at. Each month there are either two or three rings featured from different artists.

How to buy the calendar

I have 5 calendars remaining in stock. Any orders made now will be sent on 27th December and should arrive with you before 2020 begins! (depending on your location)
