Announcing the Ring a Month Theme for February 2020

It's time to announce the theme for the ring a month for February. If you've just heard of the challenge or just decided to join in then you can find out more about it here > and there's more information about how to join in below.

The theme for January is ART AND ARTISTS

It is up to you how you interpret this, I have purposely kept it open so that people can find something that they would like to create. The theme could inspire you to consider:

  • The work of a specific artist

  • A particular work of art

  • An artistic movement e.g. Impressionism, Pop Art, Renaissance etc

  • The medium e.g. painting, sculpture, photography etc

  • Gallery and exhibition spaces

As always, if you aren't inspired by this theme, make a ring of your own design. The challenge is to make a ring a month, the theme is optional. But please only share a ring made in February, rings made previously don’t count!

How do I join in?

Everyone is welcome using any material or jewellery making discipline, whatever your level of experience, wherever you are in the world!

Join the private Facebook group here and post a picture of your ring when you’re done. Work in progress shots are also welcome as are blog posts on your work
