Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience of working with metal clay who would love to develop their skills step by step and, eventually, learn more advanced projects. It is fully online with professionally filmed videos. You watch and make on your schedule and this course can be taken by anyone from anywhere in the world. At the end of each term you send your work in for marking and assessment.
Support and accountability
This isn’t just an online course though. You get lots of support including:
You’re assigned an expert mentor who will meet with you one to one via Zoom throughout the course. They will mark your work and give you constructive feedback on how to improve
Your mentor meets with you and a small group of your peers fortnightly to answer your questions about the course content
There’s also an exclusive private Facebook group staffed by a metal clay expert Monday to Saturday
This course is run by Jewellers Academy, a company that I’ve worked for since it was set up. The founder is Jessica Rose, award-winning best selling author of ‘Start and Grow a Profitable Jewellery Business’
