Silver Clay Ring Making 1-day workshop

1 day (10-5pm - with 1 hour for lunch, bring your own lunch or get lunch locally - there are lots of options nearby)

£145 (includes £45 worth of silver, a gemstone, refreshments, kiln firing and polishing)

In this exciting 1 day workshop, you will make two rings from silver clay. 

You will learn how to make two different styles of ring:

• a flat band ring - which is flat all the way around

• a D profile ring - flat on the inside and rounded on the outside

  
  

You will learn all about making rings including:

• sizing metal clay rings

• how to dry and refine your pieces to a high standard.

• creating a setting for a gemstone

• creating and adding embellishments for your rings

• carving and texturing the silver and ways to get a professional finish

The rings will be kiln fired, polished for you and posted to your address.
